The Carisealand project is a multimedia project aimed at raising awareness about environmentalism and sustainability in the Caribbean, with a focus on revisiting the region's history to find out how we got here in the era of climate change, and looking at how we can move forward with the reality of our new ways of life in the aftermath. Alternate Caribbean Futures is one part of this larger project, a docu-series that explores the various topics under the umbrella of Carisealand. As with Carisealand and all other Create Caribbean projects, Alternate Caribbean Futures is student-led with the research and production managed largely by the interns of Create Caribbean's Research and Service Learning Program.
